Improved air nozzle for reverse air jet baghouses

This article talks about the advantages of a new air nozzle in reverse air jet baghouses. Usually a reverse pulse dust collector uses a blow pipe with a series of holes drilled in it. This article discusses using special nozzles instead of simple holes so that the air jet more effectively cleans the filter bags.

This is important because a baghouse uses a lot of compressed air and the more effective bag cleaning means fewer bag changes and less bags which equates to a big saving of money.

Baghouse and dust collector maintenance

Excel Environmental is a baghouse and dust collector maintenance firm run by two very special ladies. If you need baghouse bag changes or cartridge dust collector maintenance I wholeheartedly reccomend them.

They recently put this video together to detail their services, check it out !

Baghouse Dust Collector emissions

Power plants and other industrial companies have to meet "opacity" standards for any particulate released by their baghouse dust collector stacks as well as other processes. They also have to to report when these emissions are made accidentally.

This link talks about a couple of these incidents that happened recently in the Houston, Texas area. These are from companies who voluntarily comply with EPA regulations. It's anyones guess about the companies who dont.

New baghouses and dust collectors have monitoring equipment in the stack which monitors the condition of emissions leaving the plant.

Burlington eCommerce Meetup Last Night

Last nights meetup was a really informative meeting with some truly interesting guests.

Jill dropped by and gave us some information about how she is using Clickbank to sell her ebook products. It was interesting to see how she uses keyword and niche research in much the same way SiteSell uses it in building websites.

Chris from Toronto Vending Services really had some great experiences to share, especially about promoting using auto responders and selling at large conferences.

Dave talked about his Bowen therapy health clinic in Aldershot and I showed him how he could build a site around the niche keywords that were relavant to his business.

Munira from Virtual Sales Consulting got some help on identifying good niche keywords for her Sales Training business.

I talked about how SiteSell Elearning can be helpful to those wanting to learn how to set up an internet business. Elearning is a 12 week course, that takes you step by step through the creation of your new business.

All in all a great meeting, I think everyone that attended learn something last night, something that they can put to use in their own businesses.

Thanks for attending, See you again next month!
